If that were true, why did the irs take $11,000 directly out of our bank account last month, and $3,000 out of our bank account on the 12th of this month (May) with no warning. Even though I OVERPAID the actual tax in 2021 & 2022, due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to send the actual paperwork in, so I’m now being penalized, harrassed, & fined. No, the IRS is definitely alive and well.

We are getting threats from.IRS on owing for social security taxes of 22-23. Even though we sent a letter to ask was their claim against an entity ? Or a free private living man,woman. They will seize our bank account. This is senior elderly abuse. This isnt ERS, it was the IRS. We are confused on what we can do.
