Almost four decades ago I found a picture of a young Donald Trump in the Manhattan Inc magazine. He was cradling a white dove gently in his hands. It’s easily accessible on a search. I still have the magazine but I cut out the photo and framed it. I can still remember how I felt the first time I saw it. This man didn’t have to step up to save the world’s bacon, but he did because he loved God, this country and it’s people. He didn’t do this sometime thankless job just for us, HE DID IT FOR THE WORLD! It’s strange to me while other countries can see, understand and appreciate the goodness of President Trump while some in the United States still hates and criticizes.
I’ve journaled politics since my “civics class” in high school. I Older folks like myself have lived and breathed the decline of our country one chapter after another. We stood helpless as the government stole our money and laughed in our faces. The internet has scrambled the minds of our young who were deprived of basic civic knowledge and poisoned with “instant messages” from the corrupt information sources.
