Additionally, our kidneys excrete about 0.5 liters, our skin another 3 liters, our colon and lungs contribute to further water loss, totaling approximately 2.5 liters, or 2.5 quarts of water that needs to be replaced daily. Unlike a reservoir that stores water, the human body relies on replenishment from external sources, primarily through drinking water.

    Consuming fruits and vegetables can contribute to our daily fluid intake, but it’s crucial to drink at least two liters of pure water every day to ensure our body functions optimally.
