Beneath the spectacular beauty of Yellowstone National Park lies a ticking time bomb…a supervolcano that’s overdue for its next eruption.
When that day inevitably comes, it will trigger the end of civilization as we know it.
See how recent earthquake swarms and other signals of activity have put scientists on high alert for a large-scale super volcanic eruption.
Then, witness the worldwide effects of this cataclysmic eruption, which experts predict will produce energy equivalent to the detonation of 1,000 nuclear bombs.
Could it be possible that a full-blown eruption of Yellowstone supervolcano is not too far away? Seismic activity has been increasing in recent years, and this process seems to have accelerated during the 2019.
One day it will happen. Scientists assure us that one day the absolutely massive Yellowstone supervolcano will once again experience a Category 8 eruption, and if it happened today it would “literally tear the guts out of the United States of America and devastate the entire planet.”
That’s why what’s been happening at Yellowstone volcano in recent months is so alarming. We know that the ground has been rising and that “a 465-mile-long piece of molten rock” is moving upward directly under Yellowstone.
And we also know that the major geysers at Yellowstone super volcano were more active last year than in any other year in any of our lifetimes. Are these signs that an eruption is coming? We better hope not because, as Dr. Michio Kaku recently told Fox News, there is “a sleeping Godzilla underneath Yellowstone” …
“Forget the image of Yogi Bear representing Yellowstone. “We’re talking about sleeping Godzilla underneath Yellowstone, that if it erupts into a maximum eruption called Category 8, it can literally tear the guts out of the United States of America”.
In the Yellowstone volcano update, the USGS revealed a total of 121 earthquakes were recorded in the Yellowstone area in December 2018 alone. When Yellowstone supervolcano blows, life as you know it will instantly be over. If you are not in the immediate kill zone, you will have a chance to survive, but it will not be easy. One survivalist expert suggests that everyone should “head east as fast as you can” …
“One zone, which is a radius of 100 miles, could see 70,000 people die instantly. “Zone two, which starts after 100 miles, would be covered in 10ft of vulcanic ash at 450C. “After the second zone, your chances of surviving increase, but still head east as fast as you can”.
If the Yellowstone volcano were to erupt today, none of our lives would ever be the same again from that moment on.

What would happen if the Yellowstone volcano erupted? How catastrophic blast could impact the world
Although most people associated lava with a huge volcanic eruption this would not be the biggest fear. Ash would be a much deadlier threat to the United States.Lava would not be the deadliest threat from an eruption.
The study found that an area of around 500 miles surrounding Yellowstone could see ash fall to a depth of more than 10 centimetres. This could lead to a huge loss of life, not just through initial ash fall but also due to pollution over an extended period.
There are no ways of telling just how deadly the ash cloud would be but it would have devastating effects for thousands of miles across the United States, scientists predict.
The fallout would include short-term destruction of Midwest agriculture, with rivers and streams clogged. Air travel would also be disrupted across most of North America.
People living in the Pacific Northwest might also be choking on Yellowstone’s fallout. This region includes the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho—and usually Montana and Wyoming.
“People who live upwind from eruptions need to be concerned about the big ones,” said Larry Mastin, a USGS volcanologist and lead author of the 2014 ash study.
Sulphur dioxide, such as was released in the 2014 Baroarbunga caldera eruption, could also cause a real problem for the climate as it causes cooling in the atmosphere by absorbing sunlight and reflecting some back to space.
According to Livescience cooling this causes could last up to 10 years and cause crop failures, famine, and alter rainfall patterns.
Put fuel in your car gas tank and keep it topped-off for a week in case evacuation becomes necessary. You don’t want to wait until a quake hits before trying to get fuel – which will be almost impossible to obtain if disaster strikes.
Have a supply of fresh water to drink and cook with for fourteen days. (Never mind for washing or flushing toilets – we mean water for SURVIVAL). Each human being requires six to eight (8 ounce) glasses of water per day. That’s 1/2 gallon per person, per day.
Have a small, gravity-fed water filter is important too, in case you have to get water from a local lake or stream. Filter it first! With a water filter, you’ll need a storage bucket or containers to store the water you filter. So have a clean bucket or clean containers on-hand.
Have canned (soups/meats) or dried foods (rice/grains) that will not spoil in the absence of electricity – and a MANUAL CAN OPENER to access that food.
Have basic emergency gear like battery operated flashlights and radios with spare batteries.
Have spare clothing to keep warm and dry if your home is ruined and you are forced to be outside for awhile.
Perhaps an emergency electrical source like a small generator to provide limited electricity, with the lawful, safe, amount of properly containerized and stored FUEL to supply that generator.Free energy for any type of disasters–VIDEO
Those of you with outdoor propane gas grills, might want to make sure the propane tank is full or get a spare for cooking.
Of course, having some first aid supplies is a good idea to treat any cuts or bruises or to help someone seriously hurt by a quake.
Have a supply of medications that you may routinely take — and may need to rely upon for a week or two — until supply chains can be brought back online after a major disaster.
Much of this stuff can be packed into a “go bag” for each member of your family. Put the essential in each bag, make sure everyone knows where each bag is, and have a plan to grab the bag and meet at a particular place inside our outside your home if a quake hits.
We cannot say for certain that a major earthquake is going to strike. We can say that when this type of massive CO release has taken place, there was a major.
DO NOT PANIC — PLAN INSTEAD
The choice is completely yours as to how to use (or ignore) this information. One thing is certain: THERE IS NO NEED TO PANIC. But there may very well be a need to plan, AND PLAN FAST.
We urge you to plan, now. The best plan for you and your family in major crisis!
