This group has never “been a key player in numerous conflicts around the globe”. It is just ridiculous.
The Wagner group was completed with the men from prisons. If they fight in the battles and survive they are free to come back home, not back to prison. This group was built especially for Russia-Ukrain fights. Prigojin is a former cook, who had restaurants. Some time he was Putin’s cook.
