Elon Musk decided to make public the mechanism by which the management of Twitter hid under the rug the biggest political scandal of this century.
Musk gave access to all the information to journalist Matt Taibbi, contributing editor of Rolling Stone magazine.
On Friday evening, he published a series of posts on Twitter with hallucinatory revelations about the American Parallel State.
On October 14, 2020, one month before the presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the New York Post newspaper published a sensational article about the onerous ties between Joe Biden and the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma.
The New York Post cited a series of Hunter Biden emails as the source of its information.
Thus began the Laptop Scandal, probably the biggest political scandal in the history of the United States.
In which, in addition to the direct involvement of the presidential candidate in dubious business with Ukraine, China and Russia, his son was involved in pedophilia, relations with prostitutes, pornography, drugs.
Beyond the legal and moral aspect of these relationships, they represented just as many vulnerabilities to US security through the potential risk of blackmail at the highest level.

Taibbi says that the “key role” in Twitter’s decision to remove from its platform any reference to the scathing New York Post article was played by Viyaja Gadde, the former head of Twitter’s legal department.
Gadde told other employees that he had made the decision to suppress information about the scandal because it would have violated Twitter’s policy of spreading “pirated material.”
No court has determined that Hunter Biden’s emails came into the New York Post’s possession through “hacking” or other illegal methods, but that didn’t stop Twitter from censoring the article and all references to it.
Gadde’s department’s decision sparked an uproar among Twitter employees.
Communications chief Trenton Kennedy sent a message to Twitter’s former head of security, Yoel Roth, saying it was “difficult to understand the regulatory reason why these (NY Post materials) were labeled as unsafe.”
Kennedy warned that Twitter would face “tough questions” on the matter if it failed to provide reasonable explanations.
Roth reiterated that the reason for the censorship was “piracy”, that the scandal would roll around and gain momentum, and cited the “SERIOUS risks” of the situation now and the “lessons from 2016”.
Then-Vice President of Communications Brandon Borrman wondered if Twitter could “honestly” claim that the NY Post article was based on “pirated material.”
The company’s deputy general counsel, James Baker, responded that it was “reasonable to believe” that the documents “may have been hacked” and that “caution was warranted.”
Before joining Twitter, Baker worked at the FBI as an attorney. Among other things, he is the one who gave the green light to the pursuit of Carter Page, a prominent member of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign team.
A report by the Department of Justice’s Inspector General cited no fewer than 17 “significant” errors in Baker’s decision to prosecute Carter Page, based on the fabricated “dossier” of ex-MI6 officer Christofer Steele.
Among the most shocking revelations made by Matt Taibbi are the messages through which the Democratic National Committee (DNC – the governing body of the Democratic Party) and Joe Biden’s election team alerted Twitter about negative messages addressed to Biden, asking them to be censored. Although the White House and Trump’s team have made similar demands on Twitter, the censorship has systematically favored Democrats because, Taibbi writes, “Twitter was and is mostly made up of people of one political orientation.”

As a result of the aggressive censorship of the Laptop Scandal (Facebook followed Twitter’s example), the explosive information about Joe Biden reached very little of the American voters.
A recent poll revealed that 79% of Americans believe that if information about Hunter Biden’s Laptop had been presented correctly, the outcome of the 2020 presidential election would have been different.
In parallel with the censorship on social networks, the Parallel State mobilized dozens of former officials from the American intelligence services to cover up the Scandal.
Thus, in an open letter from October 2020, they stated that everything is Russian disinformation.
In an interview on November 30, 2022, Yoel Roth belatedly acknowledged that Twitter’s censoring of the Laptop Scandal was “probably a mistake”.
